Through invitations to curated trips, conversations with master storytellers, and private community channels, the FoST Explorers Club offers a way to discover emerging forms of storytelling and connect with others who share that curiosity.

At its heart, the club is for people who believe in better stories for a better future.

At PixMob, we’ll explore how wearable technology can transform audiences from spectators into active participants in a shared story. The Montréal-based team has powered major crowd experiences from Super Bowl halftime shows to Olympic ceremonies, using light, synchronization, and scale to turn thousands of people into a living canvas. Our visit will include a look inside the lab and facilities, a wristband demo, and a conversation about the future of audience technology in live experience.

At The Black Mirror Experience, we’ll enter a premium immersive adventure from Banijay Live Studio that brings the world of Charlie Brooker’s acclaimed series into a physical, participatory format. Set inside the showroom of a fictional tech company unveiling an AI companion called LifeAgent, the experience places small groups at the center of a new story about desire, convenience, control, and personal data. Recently recognized with a Special Mention in the Cannes Immersive Competition, it offers a timely lens on AI, identity, audience agency, and the expansion of screen-based stories into live experience.

September 25 -27

London

Three days of private studio visits, immersive experiences, and behind-the-scenes conversations with some of the most inventive teams working at the cutting edge of storytelling, technology, and experience design.

At Supply + Demand, we’ll go behind the scenes with a creative studio building location-based immersive experiences that combine world-building, interactivity, and live operation. Their work includes Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, developed with Microsoft and Mojang Studios to bring one of the world’s most beloved game worlds into a physical, interactive format. Our session will include a demo of an in-development interactive connected to their Minecraft work, plus a hands-on workshop using physical miniatures to collaboratively design an immersive experience.

Black Mirror Experience

Ubisoft’s La Forge

At Ubisoft Montréal, we’ll get a private look inside one of the world’s most influential game studios, whose teams have helped define the language of contemporary interactive worlds through franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Rainbow Six and more. We’ll also meet with La Forge, Ubisoft’s research and development group, for a conversation about the technologies making game worlds more believable, adaptive, and alive — from AI, animation, rendering, and physics to sound, player behavior, and dynamic environments. The visit offers a rare chance to explore how production, research, and storytelling converge inside the future of interactive entertainment.

Dpt. Studio

At Dpt., we’ll visit one of Montréal’s most inventive interactive studios, working across VR, AR, mixed reality, AI, gaming, film, and physical installation. Their acclaimed projects include The Enemy, the Basquiat and Music AR experience at the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, and Oto’s Planet, a Venice-recognized mixed reality tale exploring coexistence, colonization, and environmental fragility. The visit will explore how Dpt. blends narrative, emerging technology, and experience design to create immersive worlds that feel technically ambitious and emotionally resonant.

The 7 Fingers

At The 7 Fingers, we’ll step inside the creative process of the Montréal-based contemporary circus company known for blending acrobatics, theater, dance, music, and physical storytelling. The company has helped redefine circus as an intimate, character-driven form, using movement, risk, ensemble collaboration, and theatricality to create deeply human live experiences. Our visit will include conversations with the team and a look at works currently in development, including upcoming projects.
